History
Finint Investments is the asset management company of the Banking Group. Active in the alternative funds space with on offer in line with the needs of its italian and internation investors.

Founded in 2004, Finint Investments is one of the first Italian alternative asset management and now is active in the following asset classes: Real Estate, Renewable Energy, Private Debt and Private Equity, NPLs and UTPs.

With over 85 investments professionals, the strengths of Finint Investments are represented by its innovative capabilities, the ability to identify and create investment opportunities in new asset class and to design and implement investment structures functional to the investors’ needs as well as the deep knowledge of the Italian investment context in which the Group has been operating for over 40 years.

Finint Investments SGR is signatory of the UN PRI (association that aims at developing a more sustainable global financial system) and compliance with the PRI principles is an integral part of the investment process.
 

2004

Finint Investments is born, the first Italian Asset Management Company authorised to set up real estate funds, including hedge funds.

2005

  • Launch of Finint ABS-I, a mutual investment fund of a speculative type, with the monthly issue and redemption of units. Finint ABS-I is the first single-manager ABS hedge fund in Italy.
  • Launch of the Giudecca fund, a closed-end real estate investment hedge fund reserved for qualified investors. Giudecca is the first real estate hedge fund in Italy.

2006

  • Finint Equity-I is born, an open-end mutual investment hedge fund.
  • Launch of the Orazio, Platone and Catullo funds, closed-end real estate hedge funds for qualified investors.

2007

Launch of the Lucrezio and Sallustio real estate hedge funds.

2008

Launch of the Aiace, Tyche and Euripide funds.

2009

Launch of the Copernico fund, the first real estate hedge fund in Italy to specialise in renewable energy.

2011

  • Launch of the Finint Bond fund, an open-end hedge fund for fixed income arbitrage.
  • Finint Investments SGR launches the Finint Principal Finance 1 fund, a closed-end fixed income fund.

2012

  • Launch of the Finint Systematic fund and Perseide Energie fund, closed-end non-speculative funds dedicated to renewable energy.
  • Launch of the Venice Waterfront fund, a closed-end real estate hedge fund for developing the real estate on the outskirts of Venice where the EXPO Venice Exhibition centre was built.

2013

  • Finint Investments SGR launches the FVG Social Housing and Trentino Social Housing funds, in the region of Friuli Venezia Giulia and in the Autonomous Province of Trento respectively.
  • Finint Investments SGR launches the first harmonised fund, Finint Absolute Return Europa, and sets up the Minibond PMI Italia fund, the first fund in Italy dedicated to mini-bonds.

2014

  • Finint Investments SGR consolidates its leadership as an Italian operator in the renewable energy sector by launching Finint Smart Energy and Finint Mythra Energie, closed-end hedge funds.
  • Launch of Finint Dynamic Equity, an open-end hedge fund with long/short equity strategy.

2015

  • Finint Investments SGR launches the Trentino Alto Adige Strategic Fund, a reserved multi-compartment AIF for supporting the growth of SMEs in the area.
  • Finint Xenios is launched focusing on the hotel industry, as well as the third Social Housing fund called Uni HS AbitaRE.
  • It also acquires the management of the AM Sviluppi Immobiliari (real estate fund) and Networth (securities fund dedicated to renewable energies) funds, previously managed by two other Asset Management Companies.
  • First closing of the Finint Fenice fund, dedicated to the sector of real estate NPLs.

2016

Launch of the Finint Virgilio fund, following the spin-off of the Orazio fund's real estate portfolio with simultaneous debt restructuring.

2017

  • Finint Investments SGR adds two additional energy funds to its managed assets, taking over the management of the Obton fund and launching the Finint Horus Energie fund.
  • Launch of the ISP-compliant Finint Economia Reale Italia fund dedicated to Italian investments, in particular small and medium sized enterprises.

2022

  • Authorisation obtained to set up and manage ELTIF funds, launch of the first fund dedicated to student housing Pitagora

2023

  • Banca Finint, together with Finint SGR and Sinloc, is awarded by the EIB the management of €268 million of the PNRR for the Tourism Fund and the Integrated Urban Plans Fund

2024

  • Private Capital's ELTIF 2.0 is created, third vintage is launched in Private Debt with PMI Italia III and in NPLs with the Principal Finance 3 fund

Un gruppo di dipendenti ha preso parte alla raccolta di rifiuti nell’area verde lungo il fiume Piave nell’ambito del progetto Park Litter dell’associazione ambientalista.

50 kg in totale di materiale raccolto tra cui: 5 kg di vetro, 15 kg di ferro, copertoni, plastica e mozziconi di sigaretta.

(Finint SGR) del 28 febbraio 2023 ha approvato alcune modifiche al Regolamento di Gestione del FIA italiano riservato istituito in forma aperta denominato "Fondo Finint Bond" (di seguito il "Fondo").
